COOL GUITARS, MUSICAL TOYS FOR YOU TO ENJOY!

There is only one way to recreate vintage Rock 'N Roll sound. The right instruments are required. Essentially all early Rock and Roll music was created using guitars manufactured in the U.S.A. by Gibson, Fender and Gretsch. Nothing else would do. Here are some "Tools Of The Trade". To enlarge the image, just CLICK ON THE PIC!

ES 355-TDSV, The Original Lucille

This is a 1968 ES355-TDSV. This is the guitar that inspired Dennis, while working for Gibson, to coordinate the Lucille model for B.B. To read more about this, read the Bio on the Home page.

Fender Gold Strat Elite

This Strat Elite is a dark cherry burst. It has active electronics and is designed to get all 7 pickup combinations. The Lace Sensor pickups and gold plated hardware make this Strat stunning in looks as well as sound. It is the most versatile Strat ever!

Gibson Custom Shop Flying V / Kahler

This is one of the last Norlin era Flying V's. It is from the Gibson Custom Shop's first year, 1985. It sports a factory installed Gibson Kahler tailpiece and a mother of pearl headstock Gibson script.logo as well as a custom color, dark natural. Special thanks go to Ed Russakoff at Rustic Music in Philly for making this happen.

Gibson EB3-L Bass

Gibson finally made a bass to compete with Fender. However few players "discovered" how good it was. Here is the "Electric Bass 3rd Edition. The "L" is the rare long neck version. There aren't many of these around.

Gibson Flying V Reverse

Here is the most innovative new Gibson guitar body design since the original Flying V was introduced in 1958! Will it reach the same level of desirability? Only time will tell. Meanwhile enjoy the Gibson Reverse Flying V.

Gibson Flying V2

The Gibson V2 was made in natural maple and walnut. This is a maple version, one of 3 finished in translucent cherry. Praise the Lord for His impeccable timing and a special thanks to Stu Davison for his help to, Bring It On Home To Me.

Gibson Les Paul Custom Super Flame Top

This could be the most outstanding flame top you will ever see on a Les Paul Custom. The Custom Shop outdid itself on this one! Special thanks go to Guitar Center, Sacramento and Instrument Exchange.

Gibson Oxblood Artist Series Case

The Artist Series cases were introduced in 1973. There were 3 versions; black and oxblood for the Les Paul; paisley for the SG. At their price points, they were not successful. The black and paisley show up from time to time but the oxblood version is another story. This proves that at least one does exist!

Gibson SG, Paisley Artist Case

When was the last time you saw one of these. The Artist Series cases were available in black and oxblood Les Paul style and this Paisley SG version. Needless to say they were not big sellers. Here is one that looks as good as it did over 30 years ago.

Gibson Victory MVX

This is the Victory in cherry sunburst. A mini toggle was added to access all 7 possible pickup combination. Also a Les Trem vibrato assemby was added for more versatility. In 1980 Gibson finally captured the single coil sound and called it the "Victory". This was another of the Gibson innovations that nobody seems to know about. Not only will it duplicate the legendary single coil sound, it still retains the vintage humbucking sound that made Gibson famous.

Gretsch Bo Diddley Model

This is a very limited re-creation of the Bo Diddley Model #6138 made by Gretsch in 1958. The pickguard was designed by Dennis Chandler and made to his specifications by WD Products. It was created using the photograph of the original pickguard from the Have Guitar Will Travel album.
